My name is Charlie Backman, and I’m a Grade 10 student at SJR. This project is the start of my business venture, and I plan to continue it long after my business class ends—so don’t worry about it disappearing soon!

This site is all about consigning your used or new sports gear and uniforms. Why is that important? After experiencing frustrating interactions on platforms like eBay and Facebook Marketplace, I wanted to create a simpler solution. Here, all you have to do is send over your gear (or I’ll pick it up), and I’ll handle the rest—taking photos, filtering out fake offers, and streamlining the selling process.

Another reason behind this project is the messy state of uniform shopping. The uniform shop often isn’t open, has no website to check availability, and gives back only a fraction of what you initially paid. Meanwhile, many people have closets full of outgrown uniforms collecting dust. Even if you don’t care about recouping costs, you could really help families with younger kids who need affordable options as they constantly outgrow their clothes.
